Dominika Durtan has been working with visual arts for over twenty years. A natural born vagabond, she has lived and exhibited on three continents: Europe, North America and Asia (Middle East to be precise). She is currently based in the UAE, where she shares her time and workspace between Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
Dominika’s practice focuses mainly on contemporary watercolour painting. Occasionally she uses other media: ceramics and gold-smithing, stone carving, wood carving and video art.
Dominika participated in several art and craft exhibitions. She is currently working on a series of architectural landscapes.
Dominika holds a Master of Art diploma from the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź, Poland, school which was named after Władysław Strzemiński, Polish constructivist.
