Confined space of a distant memory

The North-Eastern territory of Poland, formerly known as East Prussia, is historically touched by its people’s displacement. It’s a transient region where people of many cultures and ethnicities crossed their paths and coexisted. Life in this rural area is ruled by its own rhythm of passing time and living memory.

Deconstructed “Cartography of interior” focuses on the landscapes in relation with passing time. Overlapping planes of colour, fused borderlines, simultaneous shapes reflect the search for cultural belonging.
